We source our premium Forest Stewardship Council and GOLS-certified Dunlop latex from farmers in Sri Lanka. These farmers nurture the rubber trees that produce the latex, which is essential for Awara’s renowned comfort and support.
- Trees for the Future
For every Awara mattress sold, we plant ten trees in Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, or Tanzania through our collaboration with Trees for the Future. This initiative not only aids reforestation but also supports local ecosystems and communities.

Happsy says they’re using certified latex, but it’s not completely clear what certification this is. At 2 inches, it’s half the amount of latex of the Awara.
